What Makes Us Special

 
At SHHS Nursery we believe that experiences in the first years of a child's life are crucial to development and impact the rest of their life.  We take our role as carers and educators very seriously.
 
The value and desirability of nursery education is now widely recognised. Sunny Hill House School Nursery, our philosophy is to combine the best aspects of the "skills and discipline" approach and the "child centred, progressive and caring" approach.  We believe that children in the pre-school age group have a far greater desire and capacity to learn basic educational skills than has been generally acknowledged and our aim is to give our children a crucial head start in their education.
 
We offer care and education to children aged two to three years.  Our sessions are 8.30 am to 12.30 pm, including lunch and 1 pm to 3.30 pm.  Full days are also available.
