Holiday Club/Out Of School Care

Our Ofsted registered holiday club is open to children of St. Hilda's, Sunny Hill House and Silcoates School.  It is open to all children from the age of 3 years.  During term-time care is offered between 8.00 and 8.30 am and 3.30 - 6.00 pm for a small fee and breakfast is also available between 8.00 and 8.30 am if required.  During the school holidays care is availability from 8.00 am until 6.00 pm.

The holiday club offers a wide range of stimulating activities primarily designed to be fun!  The activities are cooking, painting, model making, swimming, outdoor activities and day trips. There will also be the opportunity to do homework and read. 

The Holiday Club accepts children Monday to Friday for a half-day session, which can be either 8am - 1 pm or 1 pm - 6 pm.  Each half-day session is charged at £16 per child.  Children are also able to make use of the facilities on a full day basis, 8 am - 6 pm, and the charge for this is £27.50 per child.  If a booking is made for one week on a full-day basis the charge for this is £115 per child.  These charges are reviewed each September. 

The Holiday club is open during the foundation's school holidays, except for weekends, Foundation Day, Bank Holidays and some dates at Christmas and the New Year.

Bookings should be made in advance on the Holiday Club Booking form.  We do not accept telephone bookings but parents may telephone St. Hilda's school to ascertain the availability of places at short notice.  Payment should be attached to the booking form and is non-refundable.

From time to time a waiting list may come into operation.  Should a place become available we will contact parents.   Parents/guardian's should provide their child with a suitable healthy lunch.  However, snacks will be available for children throughout the day.

All parents of children at St Hilda's, Sunny Hill & Silcoates Junior School will automatically receive a booking form for each holiday period.
